Pat Caughey | RLA, FASLA
As President and Principal owner of Wimmer Yamada and Caughey (WYAC), Pat Caughey oversees the firm’s design direction and design solutions. He is a proven landscape architect, team leader and creative designer with 30+ years of experience.
In addition to managing the firm, Pat’s involvement in the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) at both the local and national level, has kept him at the forefront of legislative changes and national movements affecting the profession. He was appointed National President of ASLA in 2007 followed by a two-year term as the National Chair of the ASLA Council of Fellows, and in 2013, was awarded the ASLA National President’s Medal for his service and contribution to the society.
He was inducted into the American Society of Landscape Architects class of Fellows in 2004.
Pat recently rejoined the national board of directors for ACE (Architecture, Construction, Engineering) an outreach/mentoring program working with high school students across the United States. Pat continues to give back to the community by actively participating in San Diego Rotary Club 33 and by serving on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Balboa Park.
A graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) in Design with an emphasis in Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture, Pat was recently named ASU’s School of Design distinguished alumni for 2017.
He is a licensed landscape architect in California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
Jenny Caughey
Jennifer Caughey joined Wimmer Yamada and Caughey (WYAC) in 1995 and moved into the role of Business Manager in 1998. Today her responsibilities include all aspects of business management including human resources, risk management, cash management, investment planning and overall office administration. Additionally, she oversees day-to-day accounting including project invoicing, vendor payments, company payroll, bank account reconciliation and generation of company financial statements.
Jennifer is a graduate of San Diego State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her large extended family. She enjoys cooking swimming, hiking at Torrey Pines, walking along the beach, reading and music.
