From the early 1960’s to present day 2010, WYAC has provided sustainable and timeless landscape designs for the sprawling UCSD campus. From early campus master planning to the layout and design of the original Muir and Revelle colleges to individual academic and research buildings, to student housing and dining facilities to UCSD’s satellite medical facility – Thornton Hospital, the firm’s designs can be seen, enjoyed and appreciated just about everywhere on campus.
For over 50 years Wimmer Yamada and Caughey has been privileged to work on the design and implementation of many UCSD campus projects most notably including:
