The City of San Marcos’ “Heart of the City” and “San Marcos Town Center” developments created the city’s civic core and included the integration of planned streetscapes. San Marcos Town Center is home to the city’s municipal offices, commercial development and private businesses. Wimmer Yamada and Caughey provided master plan design support and full design services for project implementation.

• Design connects two main thoroughfares connecting Town Center Drive with CSU San Marcos campus
  
• Vibrant water features, native and indigenous rock and complimentary plant palettes help establish civic character and blend with adjacent San Marcos Creek riparian environment
