Plaza La Jolla Village is a premier office campus with two ten-story and one 18-story tower along with four low-rise buildings. Wimmer Yamada and Caughey (WYAC) was responsible for all landscape and hardscape design. Plaza La Jolla Village offers commercial tenants a private park like setting, which has become a La Jolla landmark, and establishes the highest standard for landscape architecture in the Golden Triangle.

Specifics:

• As project landscape architect was responsible for identifying the best building footprint sites in order to preserve and protect open space
• Interior pond provided fill material for raising perimeter berms to reduce traffic noise
• Stream, waterfalls and retaining walls connect garden paths using natural granite collected from county quarries
