The central Police Station was a design-build project with Sundt Construction and the City of San Diego. This station, located on 12-acres in southeast San Diego, consists of a redevelopment area surrounding an existing police pistol range.

Specifics:

• Landscape design accommodated a new police department heavy vehicle maintenance facility, K-9 kennel and training facility, joint-use K-9/SWAT building and a new community meeting building for local residents
  
• On site stormwater management utilized the design of bio-swales, a retention basin and removal of invasive plants within a protected riparian zone
