Sited on approximately 150 acres of rolling terrain, the award-winning ARCO Olympic Training Center is located adjacent to the Lower Otay Reservoir, just south of San Diego, CA. Through an environmentally appropriate master plan and design, the project successfully responded to the need for significant water conservation, soil stabilization and visual impact mitigation.
Specifics:

• Phase I design included entry/visitor's center, housing for 300 athletes, 14 venues for sporting events including tennis, soccer, track & field, rowing, cycling, swimming & diving, javelin/discus, and comprehensive state-of-the-art medical and training facilities
  
• Approximately 50% of planted area is non-irrigated thereby insuring water conservation
  
• End result is a world-class athletic training facility to serve our nation's athletes for decades
